We actually went with the tractor inside the field to see the bird swarm, as the birds are used to the tractor they allow you to come very close and observe them. It is a magical experience. The best time to watch the birds is from October to March when the birds are breeding (migration season). For more fun activities check out the bicycles and golf carts that you can rent on site.
