The present church building was constructed by the German Association of the Holy Land. The well preserved Mosaics inside the church are remains of older churches. This is a very colorful place, as Christians from around the world to visit here. Stay for a couple of minutes longer and watch the visitors flow as tourist buses come and leave every few minutes.
